Our Library
Benton Library Media Center serves the needs of faculty and students at Benton High School in St. Joseph, Missouri as part of the St. Joseph School District. We have a print collection totaling approximately 7,000 volumes and an online collection consisting of over 30 databases. Our facility includes comfortable seating, including high- and low-top tables and stools, as well as a couch area. We also have four flat-screen televisions broadcasting 6 channels and one flat-screen television broadcasting the daily announcements. Our staff has two circulation desk with 24-inch iMacs. Teachers have access to a teacher workroom, including copier, fax, machine, professional reading, and seating, as well as the library workroom, including laminator, die-cut machine, binder, and more. Students have access to 64 MacBook laptops with a variety of software, including Microsoft Office, iLife, iWork, and Adobe CS4.
